Salamander Fabrications are at the forefront of welding in the sheet metal industry, with a wealth of knowledge and 50 years of experience within the manufacturing and welding industries.  All of our welding operators are highly skilled coded welders working with numerous exotic materials as well as high yield strength materials. Welding Specifications

Our welding capabilities are also coded in line with numerous standards and specifications, such as:

EN 15614-1 – Specification and qualification of welding procedures for metallic materials Part 1: Arc and gas welding of steels and arc welding of nickel and nickel alloys.

EN 15614-2 – Specification and qualification of welding procedures for metallic materials Part 2: Arc welding of aluminium and its alloys.

EN 9606-1 – Qualification testing of welders. Fusion welding – Steels.

EN 9606-2 – Qualification test of welders. Fusion welding – Aluminium and aluminium alloys.

Welding Processes

A range of different welding processes are undertaken at Salamander Fabrications with numerous different materials and thicknesses, including:

  • Mig Welding for 3mm – 15mm components.
  • Tig Welding for 0.8mm – 10mm components.
  • Robotic Mig Welding for large batch productions.
  • Spot Welding
