Background
Salamander were recently commissioned to create luggage racks, suitable for trains. The customer was managing a project which incorporated them refurbishing rail carriages – so Salamanders task was to ensure that the output was delivered on time, inline with the brief and on budget.
Solution
Manufactured in stainless steel with a brushed finish, the output was a fully functional, hardwearing luggage rack and was delivered to the customer ready to install onto the train carriages.
Full dimensional reports and dye penetration was carried out during the project and all manufacturing was completed by coded welders.
